Boredbeans at UnitedXR Europe 2025: A Milestone for Hong Kong's XR Innovation

Our recent participation in UnitedXR Europe 2025, held in Brussels from December 8-10, was a significant opportunity to highlight Hong Kong's creative strengths on the global stage. As part of the Hong Kong Pavilion—organized by the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA), implemented by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), and supported by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau—we joined 19 other Hong Kong companies to showcase advancements in AI, XR, and VR across sectors like gaming, education, animation, and immersive experiences.


UnitedXR Europe 2025, the inaugural fusion of Augmented World Expo EU and Stereopsia, emerged as Europe's foremost XR event, attracting thousands of professionals eager to explore the future of immersive technologies. The Pavilion, provided an ideal platform for us to connect East and West. At the opening ceremony, Commissioner Miss Drew Lai and Special Representative Ms. Shirley Yung underscored Hong Kong's commitment to fostering global collaborations in creative tech.

Engaging Audiences with Our XR Solutions at UnitedXR

Building Global Connections

The event excelled in facilitating meaningful networking. Through CCIDA-organized exchange activities, business meetings, and company visits, we gained valuable insights into European XR trends and connected with international buyers, investors, and partners. We secured over 80 connections, paving the way for expanded market reach and innovative projects.

Looking Forward

Returning to Hong Kong, we're excited about the possibilities ahead. This event has strengthened Boredbeans' position in the global XR landscape and highlighted Hong Kong's innovative edge. We're grateful to CCIDA, HKDEA, HKPC, and the UnitedXR team for this outstanding platform.
